Clients and Building Contractors: In the interest of personal privacy I did not identify my clients on the website. Yet in many cases it was my clients who deserve most of the credit for the home designs. It is no accident that the homes on this website vary greatly in style. In one case, the Jenner home, my client created her own model to help describe what she was after. Together we noticed what worked and what didn’t work, and modified the model as we developed the design. I offered other design possibilities, but I really tried to make her design concept work. My greatest pleasure is realizing the dreams of my clients, so I naturally welcome their full participation during the design process. I also did not mention the general building contractors for the projects on this website. I would prefer to convey this information personally. The general contractor is extremely important for a job well done and a satisfying house-building experience.
Website design: I very much enjoyed working with Åsa
Mark of monkeyeyesmedia.com. I really wanted to design my own website, and
Åsa encouraged me to do this, making suggestions and giving me help
when needed. I created the pages in Photoshop and Åsa transformed the
structure of my work into HTML language using the Dreamweaver website software.
I then did the grunt-work of placing all the photographs I had scanned into
the structure Åsa had created, doing this in my own Dreamweaver software
program.
